In the gallery of mem'ries there are pictures bright and fair, and I find that dear old Butler is the brightest one that's there. Alma mater, how we love thee, with a love that ne'er shall fade, and we feel we owe a debt to thee that never can be paid.

> hi mom, i just remembered some stuff i forgot to say in my last letter.
our band gets to play on the speedway! on the 29th, we're going to play
before the US Grand Prix. oooh swanky! maybe we'll be on tv! we march
out, play in the stands or something, and then get some really good seats to
watch the race. only in indianapolis. well, the brown has almost entirely
faded out of my hair, and i'm left with blond highlights with a tint of
green. ah, i have been eating gum a lot lately, and my mouth has hurt all
morning...... :( so i'll be doing less of that, and taking some advil.
there is a lot of sickness passing around campus, so i've been washing my
hands tons. yesterday there was a girl (emily) who thought she had a fever
but couldnt read her thermometer because it wasnt digital, and i had to help
her read it. (she didnt have a fever) it helps to be the daughter of a
nurse sometimes. nothing else to say, i dont think, except to make sure you
got my picture, some people i sent it to didnt get it....
> anyway, time for lunch then class. have a great wednesday!
> miss you and all
> love andrea
