In the gallery of mem'ries there are pictures bright and fair, and I find that dear old Butler is the brightest one that's there. Alma mater, how we love thee, with a love that ne'er shall fade, and we feel we owe a debt to thee that never can be paid.

hi mom!
how're you?
i just wanted to write and make sure you knew i was alive! i talked to david for a minute after i got back to butler, but i didnt' know if you got the message or not. how's the BIC tent doing? any holes? do we know who our drivers are for RAGBRAI this year? well my drive to butler went pretty well, except for one part. i was just driving along minding my own business, when this flock of birds flew across my path in the road, and one was sort of flying lower than the others and swerved upward to try and miss my car but instead flew STRAIGHT into my bike.... even when i'm not riding it my bike is deadly to small animals!!! i was traumatized, poor little birdy. but right after i saw the weinermobile driving down the road in the other direction, so that made me feel a little better. the weather was very pleasant the whole drive - i'm glad i left when i did, although i think it had been raining recently in indianapolis so that might also have been why it was so cool. i got back to butler before andrea dell, and i was 1/2 way through getting my boxes out of her room when she got there.... caught!! but she didnt care. anyway its good to see her again and catch up on the stuff that she's done since 3 weeks ago. well i'm off to eat some lunch and maybe mow the lawn. unless its still damp outside (i havent looked too closely out the window yet) and then i guess i'll have to wait!miss you already!
love
andrea
