Bank Job

hi dad and mom,
just a quick note before bed-
i got the Ameren UE check in the mail.... looks like we'll have to do some calling to Chase bank soon.... no more fees!!!also, remember how i said the 'maintenance required' light was on in the car? well i looked in the manual and it says its something the driver can set so you are reminded when to change the oil. the harney sticker in the window says we're not due for an oil change, so i think we're okay. i just reset the button so the light would go off.as to work, more more more of the same computer training, although i am almost done with the current 'course' so hopefully a change soon. also, i am in charge of letting people into see their safe deposit boxes, and that kept me busy.okay i'm not feeling well, i need to go to bed....

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to spread the word that I have FINALLY found a job!! As of next Tuesday, I will be US Bank's newest teller. It's not a very glamorus position, nor does it really have anything to do with my major. But it'll have one important thing - a paycheck!!! And also lots of opportunities for promotion, eventually even to Public Relations and Marketing sorts of positions (more in line with my major/interests). I think it'll be a lot of fun, I'm sort of tired of putting around the house all day anyway!

My GRE Scores are
Verbal 560Quantitative 610Analytical Writing - To Be Determined
Yay! Its over with! I tried to look at various colleges to see how well that would stack up, but all I came up with was I don't have a high enough combined score to get into Iowa's Biology program (1300) (which I wouldnt want to anyway) but i DO have a high enough score to get into Ohio State's journalism program (minimum 1000) (iowa didnt list their minimum score requirement) (and i dont know if id want to apply to ohio state either).... so i think it just varies, and proabably the journalism requirement is lower 'cause the math for biology is expected to be at a much higher level.also, good news!!! i got called back from US bank!! it was just a lady from their HR department saying that she had 'a few questions to ask regarding my online application' .... so we'll see what that means..... i called her back, but i think she had left for the day. .... hopefully if i can get her on the phone, i can get her to give me an interview!!
